Quick answer
Send a vector logo (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) in one or two colors, approve a digital proof that shows placement and ink colors, and plan on several weeks from approval to delivery for printed bags and cups. Reorder when you have about six weeks of stock left, and keep plain stock on hand as a bridge.
What we can print
Kraft and poly bags, hot and cold paper cups, napkins and sticker seals. Bags and cups are printed by the case in one or two ink colors; napkins and stickers are the fastest and cheapest way to get your logo into every order while bags are in production.
The artwork file
- Vector, not a screenshot. AI, EPS, PDF or SVG files scale cleanly. A JPG or PNG pulled from your website will print blurry. If all you have is a JPG, send it anyway; we clean up and redraw simple logos as part of the job.
- One or two colors. Flexographic printing on bags and cups works best with flat spot colors. Gradients and photos do not translate. Tell us your Pantone color if you have one; if not, we match from your sign or menu.
- Keep it bold. Thin lines and small text fill in on kraft paper. Anything under about 8 point type is a risk.
What the proof shows
Before anything prints you get a digital proof: the item, your logo placed at actual size, the ink color, and the print area. Check spelling, phone number and that the logo is not sitting across a fold or seam. Once you approve, the proof is what the plant prints, so take the five minutes.
Minimums and lead times
Minimums are set per item and are far lower than they used to be, which is why single location operators now print bags. Printed bags and cups typically take several weeks from proof approval to delivery; napkins and sticker seals are faster. Ask for the current minimum and lead time on your exact item when you request pricing, because they change with the mill schedule.
Reordering without running out
Note the date you open your last pallet or your last few cases. When you are down to about six weeks of stock, reorder. We keep your artwork and proof on file, so a reorder is one message. Keep a few cases of plain stock in the back as a bridge; nobody notices a plain bag for a week, but everybody notices no bag.
Frequently asked questions
What file do I need for custom printed bags?

Printed bags and cups usually take several weeks from proof approval to delivery. Napkins and sticker seals are faster. We confirm the current lead time with your quote.
Is there a minimum order for printed cups?
Yes, minimums are set per item, but they are low enough for single location restaurants. Ask us for the current minimum on the exact cup size you use.
